What cameras and phones work with IDOLCAM 4X?
iPhone 10–17 and Android smartphones, DJI Osmo Pocket 1/2/3, DJI Action, GoPro 7–13, and Insta360 action cameras. With Dual Suspension, it also supports heavier cameras like the Sony ZV1 and Canon R50.

What's the difference between the Standard, Aluminum, and Pro Cage kits?
All three are the same core 4th-axis stabilizer — they differ in mounting hardware and build. The Standard Kit includes an action cam adapter, smartphone mount, and tripod handle. The Aluminum Kit swaps in a metal phone holder, metal tripod, and strap. The Pro Cage adds Dual Suspension for heavier cameras and full-frame setups.

What's the difference between IDOLCAM 4X and IDOLCAM 4X Pro?
4X is the original, lightweight 4th-axis stabilizer. 4X Pro is a separate, beefed-up rig with 2× the payload capacity (up to 1.65 lbs), built for creators who want to mount microphones, lights, monitors, or a battery bank alongside a heavier camera.

How it works

Do I need batteries or an app?
No. IDOLCAM 4X is a purely mechanical 4th-axis stabilizer — no batteries, no apps, no pairing. Just mount your camera and go.

How much weight can it hold?
Standard configuration supports up to 15 oz. With the optional Dual Suspension (included in the Pro Cage), payload goes up to 26 oz (1.65 lbs on 4X Pro).

Does it replace my gimbal?
No — it works alongside your existing 3-axis gimbal (or a phone/action cam's built-in stabilization) to eliminate the vertical bounce that gimbals can't correct on their own.
