"Why not just use a 3-axis gimbal?"

That skepticism was immediately destroyed when, only five minutes after opening the package, I had a balanced Osmo 3 and was sprinting around trying to make it look terrible. To be clear, it is not a Steadicam. Nor is it on par with any kind of float-cam or professional camera support that you'd find on a budgeted picture; but it absolutely crushes the task of smoothing out the Z for the Osmo. If you want to do something a little more pro feeling with the Osmo, or want to stop walking around like you're in a drum line just to smooth your Z, this package can't be beat. You still need to pay attention, and it has limits, but a little ingenuity can cover all of that easily. Go make movies.
